Hi! I’m Molly, a registered dietitian and nutrition journalist with a passion for helping people live their healthiest, strongest lives. Based in New Orleans, where the party never stops, the goal can be daunting… but I love every bit of the challenge and I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to share nutrition and wellness information with so many.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to educate, inspire and empower others through my weekly podcast, FUELED Wellness + Nutrition and my weekly TV segments on WGNO, researching and sharing the latest wellness trends and science.
As founder of Ochsner Eat Fit, a nonprofit initiative that collaborates with local restaurants and chefs to develop and feature menu items that are nutritious and delicious, we’re always cooking up a blend of nutritious + delicious dishes. Our Eat Fit team has expanded beyond Eat Fit NOLA, offering Eat Fit in six regions throughout the state, driven by our talented team of registered dietitians.
Instead of obsessing over what not to eat, my preference is to put the focus on the good stuff that I’m adding into my diet. The more healthful stuff we squeeze in, the more we edge out any space for the not-so-good-for-you stuff.
Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all. Keep things simple without over complicating. My goal is to help clients erase those “rules” we all create for ourselves and take the pressure away from being perfect.
Most of what I do is centered on nutrition science and educating and motivating clients, viewers, and readers. I’ve found that sculpting serves as a completely different type of outlet for me, the perfect antidote to technology and deadlines. My design philosophy is similar to my wellness philosophy: I love to create functional pieces to serve nourishing foods with conscience loving care. See my work here.
